We as Indians have always debated our country's performances at the Olympics and somehow the whole debate gets faded away with time until the next Olympics.

Since the last decade many of our sportsmen and women have showed tremendous grit and determination and fought against all odds to achieve greater heights consistently but they faltered at the last hurdle where perhaps the edge needed was missing.

Having realized and understood ,that missing edge a group of sports enthusiasts from the city of Pune (where the Indian Olympic movement was launched) have come forward to start LAKSHYA (Looking At Knowledge in Sports and Helping Youth Achieve).

LAKSHYA's main aim is to catch young talented sportspersons, help them to develop their skills, hone their techniques and get them closer to their aims and aspirations.

LAKSHYA is a platform provided to young upcoming talented sportspersons from the society to do their best on the sports field with out having to worry about other factors off it

LAKSHYA's aim is to provide much needed launching pad to the careers of talented sportspersons in the country so they achieve what we as million Indians dream of PRIDE AND GLORY FOR THE NATION. SCALING NEWER HEIGHTS,CLIMBING HIGHER FRONTIERS AND MAKING WINNING NOT A ONE OFF INSTANCE BUT A HABIT. In the first phase, we have adopted the following disciplines –

Chess, Badminton, Tennis, Shooting, Wrestling, Boxing and Cricket
